Basics of how to create a video like this:
- Add many images with short duration
- For every image use image effects and transitions
- Add text with a black transparent background
- Add entry and exit transitions to the text
For the beginning and end of this video an intro and outro clip was added.
- To do this, add a pre-made video clip on to the beginning and end of your Headliner video right before export.
Step by Step Guide:
Step 1: Click the Straight to Editor Project and choose Landscape as the aspect ratio.
Step 2: Upload audio and make sure transcription switch is on. Correct any errors in the transcription.
Step 3: Make sure "Wave Type" is switched to NONE so you will not see the waveform in the preview.
Step 4: Copy and paste the transcription text into individual text boxes. Adjust how long the text box lasts based on what you hear in the audio. Use different entry and exit transitions.
Step 5: Add images based on the words and concepts in the audio and use transitions and effects such as pan and zoom. You can use the search within Headliner to look up images based on keywords. For example look up Ben Affleck in the image search and you'll find plenty of images to use. The more images you use, and the shorter they last on the screen, the more movement will occur and the more dynamic the video will be.
Step 6: When you go to preview your video make sure the captions switch is off. You only want the text you added in the timeline to show.
