Headliner lets you create unlimited videos! But, some times, we have to do a little spring cleaning. After 6 months of inactivity, audiogram and video projects in Headliner get archived—have no fear though, you can easily restore these archived projects to give that particular creation new life.
Here's how.
Restoring archived projects in Headliner
To begin, if you want to restore archived projects in Headliner, you will need to upgrade to Headliner Pro. Please follow on screen prompts or upgrade via your 'My Plan' page in your Headliner account.
Once you've successfully upgraded your account, follow these easy steps to restore archived projects.
- Navigate to your 'Projects' tab in your Headliner account
- Click on the project you wish to restore (must be older than 6 months. Anything newer should still be available in your account.)
- Click 'Restore.'
- Wait until Headliner finishes reprocessing your project.
Note: Reprocessing may take up to 24 hours to finish. You'll also need to manually return to your project in order to share or download it.
Note: Reprocessed projects will be available for 30 days. After that, they will get re-archived.
A note about video projects
Archived projects containing a video element may need to have the video re-uploaded. Videos should only need to be re-uploaded in the event you'd like to edit the project.
For video projects that need to be edited, follow these easy steps. (To just restore projects, follow the above steps (or just stop at Step 4)):
- Navigate to the 'Projects' tab
- Click on the project you wish to restore
- Click 'restore'
- Wait until Headliner finishes reprocessing your project
- Click 'Edit.'
- For Projects edited in the 'Advanced Editor' option:
- Navigate to the video assets on the media track. Click on the video and then 'Replace.'
- Once you're happy with your video, click 'Export' to process and share your video.
- For Projects edited in the 'Quick Editor' option:
- Click 'Media'
- Then click on the video element and click 'Replace.'
- Once you're happy with your video, click 'Save Changes' to process and share your video.
