Have you seen an email that looks like this?
This article will help explain why you’re getting it and let you know what you need to do.
Why you’re seeing this email
If you’re seeing this email, it means you created a Headliner project for a specific podcast show. However, the email you used to create your Headliner account does not match the email attached to the podcast’s RSS feed you created for.
For transparency, Headliner asks that you request access to that show. By requesting access, you are ensuring that Headliner can certify the account is authentic and authorized to create/represent the podcast listed!
Steps to Follow
1. Click the Button: The email includes a button to request access. Click this button to initiate the authorization process.
2. Authorization Request: Once you click the button, we will send an email to the address listed in the podcast's RSS feed. This email will request confirmation that you are indeed a member of the podcast's production team and/or are authorized to create content for the show.
3. Wait for Response: We will notify you if and when the feed owner responds to our authorization request. This process ensures that only verified team members can claim the project. In the meantime, you will still be able to make and create for the podcast, we just will not be able to verify or credit the work as authentic.
Why This Process is Important
This verification process is designed to protect the integrity of your podcast and ensure that only authorized individuals have access to manage and enhance the project. By following these steps, you help maintain the security and authenticity of your podcast’s content and associated projects.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team. We're here to help you get the most out of Headliner's features and tools.
