In both the Manual and Automatic Audiograms wizard, podcasters can create captioned, stylized full-length audiograms. This article will walk you through the process of creating a full-length audiogram.
Note: The steps may vary slightly between the Manual and Automations. However, the process is very much the same, and you should be able to achieve the same result in either wizard. Pictures shown are from the Manual Audiograms wizard.
Step 1: Create Audiogram
Once logged in to your Headliner account, click either audiogram wizard (Manual Audiograms or Automatic Audiograms).
Step 2: Select Destination
Next, select the desired destination for your audiogram.
Note: Selecting one platform does not directly tie that audiogram to the platform. You may download the audiogram or share to any supported platform.
To create a full-length audiogram, select either YouTube or Facebook. These platforms support full-episode audiograms/videos.
Next, select the 'full-episode' option.
Step 3: Choose starting point
Now, choose your starting point!
For Pro and Basic account holders, you will have the option to either create from your back catalog via automation. All accounts may create one-off projects from any point via Manual Audiograms.
To learn more about automations, check on this article.
Step 4: Add audio
Next, you'll need to add your audio.
Headliner offers a handy Podcast Search tool for easy-peasy file adding. Just search for your show or drop in your RSS feed. Next, select the episode you are creating for from the. We'll automatically bring the source audio in so you don't have to dig for it!
Note: Headliner will may send you an email to claim your podcast. Once you've done that, we'll remember your show for you so won't have to search for it every time.
You may also upload audio files manually by clicking 'UPLOAD' on the right-hand side. (This is perfect for unpublished episodes!)
Step 4: Select language* (Optional)
Headliner can add captions to full-length audiograms! In order for our captioning tool to be as accurate as possible, you need to select the spoken language.
If you are not planning on adding captions, you can skip this step by clicking through to the next step.
Note: If you are a Pro account holder, you will be prompted to opt-in or out of transcription (see above image). If you would like a transcript of your audiogram sent to your inbox, along with all sorts of marketing tools (social captions, YouTube description, keywords, etc.), click 'Yes.' If not, select 'No thanks' and then the blue 'Continue with this language' button.
Note: Headliner supports over 100+ languages. Can't find yours? Let us know! Email support@headliner.app and we'll see what we can do.
Step 5: Choose your template
Headliner offers a variety of template options! Choose from our selection of pre-made templates, edit to make them uniquely yours, or create a template from scratch.
Note: Landscape is the default aspect ratio for full-episode audiograms. You may change the aspect ratio by clicking the blue 'Change Aspect Ratio' button located near the top of your screen.
Step 6: Finalize & export your design
Use the Quick Editor to make any adjustments to your design or template. Click 'Create,' found in the lower right-hand corner, and Headliner will start processing your audiogram!
Note: You'll be brought to a screen that looks like the one pictured below. You'll need to wait here or leave this tab open all the lines have check marks. Once that happens, you may leave this screen or close the tab. Headliner will send you an email when your audiogram is ready!
