Automated podcast feeds can be edited from the 'Projects Tab' in Headliner. Editing an automated feed allows you to change the way we create clips for your podcast (Headliner AI vs Soundbite tags), the length of your clips, the aspect ratio of your videos, and the template used to create them.
Step 1: Navigating to Automations
To edit your automation, visit the Projects Tab. Next, navigate to the left-hand side of your screen. Here you show see a side bar containing all the shows associated with your Headliner account; you'll know what podcasts you're working with based on visible show art.
To edit an automation, click on the correct show art. Then, click on the 'Automations' bar at the top of your screen. You should see a list of automations in the drop down panel.
Step 2: Edit Automations
Next, hover over the automation you would like to edit. Click the edit button towards the bottom of the automation icon.
Doing this will open a menu that will allow you to customize your automated feed to your liking. You may:
- Edit 'Audio Selection:' Here you may change how your clips are selected. You may adjust how we select audio for each video. For AI selections, you may alter the goal length (typically 15 seconds - 10 min). You may also switch automations to use the entire episode or to select clips based on soundbite tags in your feed.
- Edit 'Visuals:' Here you may change templates or aspect ratios.
- Edit 'Output:' Editing the output allows you to edit the posting destination or auto-posting details. Editing auto-posting allows you to change things like captions, playlists, or any metadata attached to your automaton.
Note: For YouTube automations, you may edit the automation starting point. Headliner can create audiograms episodically (starting at episode 1), seasonally, or for future episodes.
