What is the Social Calendar?
The Social Calendar is a calendar inside Headliner that shows every social post you've scheduled, along with when and where it will go live. You can schedule a video clip or audiogram, review it on the calendar, and edit its caption, date, or time without leaving Headliner.
Headliner has let you schedule social content for a while. What's new is visibility: instead of scheduling a post and hoping you remember it, you can now see your whole publishing plan in one place and adjust it as you go. For more on Social Scheduling, check out this Learn Center Article.
The Social Scheduler is a Pro feature. You'll need a Headliner Pro account to schedule posts and use the calendar.
How to manage your scheduled posts
Every scheduled post lives on the Social Scheduler calendar, where you can review it, edit it, or move it until it goes live.
Review or edit a post
- Go to the Publish tab.
- Click the post on the calendar to open it.
- Make your changes. For example, edit the caption or add a hashtag.
- Click Update. Headliner saves your changes and confirms the update.
Reschedule a post
- Open the post from the calendar.
- Click on the current time and date select. A drop down menu will appear with a mini-calendar. Change the date, time, or both on the calendar.
- Click Update. The post moves to its new spot on the calendar.
The more clips you schedule, the more useful the calendar becomes: it's a running view of what's publishing, where, and when!
FAQ
Do I need a Pro account? Yes. The Social Scheduler is available on Headliner Pro.
Where did the Analytics tab go? It's now inside the Publish tab. Your YouTube and social performance data is all still there.
Why can't I select a platform? Your clip is likely longer than that platform allows. Headliner only shows platforms the clip qualifies for. For more on time limits, check out this Learn Center Article for the most up to date information on platform limits.
Can I change a post after I schedule it? Yes. Open it from the calendar to edit the caption, date, or time, then click Update.
Can I schedule clips from older projects? Yes. Any project in your Projects tab can be shared and scheduled, which makes it easy to re-promote past episodes.
Why schedule your social posts with Headliner
