Headliner is famous for our audiograms! Audiograms allow podcasters to convert their audio-only recording into social video clips. Recently, we have extended those same capabilities to video.
This article will teach you how to convert your podcast, audio or video, into shareable clips.
Why use Headliner to create clips for your podcast?
Great question! If you’re putting time and energy into creating a podcast, you want to make sure people actually hear it. That’s where Headliner comes in.
For over 5 years, Headliner has been the go-to solution for podcast promotion, helping more than 1.5 million podcasters worldwide turn their full-length episodes into social clips. Along the way, we’ve learned a ton about what works and built those insights directly into the product.
Our proprietary clipping AI is trained on millions of hours of podcast content, plus direct user feedback, to automatically identify the moments most likely to capture attention and drive engagement. In other words: it doesn’t just clip randomly, it clips smartly.
On top of that, Headliner’s automations give you up to 10 clips per project, whether your show is audio-first or video-first. That means every time you upload, you walk away with a batch of styled, captioned, ready-to-share content that helps grow your audience without eating up your time.
Headliner makes it simple, scalable, and effective to get your podcast in front of new listeners.

How to create captioned clips from video-first podcasts

There are two ways you can batch create, or automate, video clip creation in Headliner.
The first is the 'Multiple Captioned Clips' flow. In this flow, you upload a video into Headliner and then walk away with up to 10 clips. You can even caption and style them, with things like watermarks, to make them more recognizable in peoples' feeds and, well, more you!
The second option is through 'Most Replayed.' Most Replayed basically works the same as the Multiple Captioned Clips flow, but, it has one key distinction: clips are created using publicly available YouTube most replayed data. This means that Headliner will create clips with context that are based on a video's most replayed moments.
