Your data matters. Headliner communicates with external Analytics Dashboards (provided by your hosting platform) as well as your Headliner Dashboard.
How are listens tracked?
All listens and downloads are IAB-certified. They will likely appear as browser or web traffic in external analytics dashboards like the one shown below.
The Headliner Dashboard
Headliner will also track and report your campaign’s success in your Headliner Dashboard. The Headliner Dashboard will record impressions, plays, engagement, etc., empowering podcasters to truly understand their data.
Headliner will provide both tables and data visualizations to help analyze your campaign.
What do the different metrics mean in the Headliner Dashboard?
Impressions—This is how many times your podcast was called to be shown on a publisher's site. Impressions are recorded upon page load and will be counted even if a potential listener did not see your widget.
Viewable Impressions—Viewable Impressions are impressions that a potential listener sees. They do not reflect whether they clicked or actually listened, just if they saw the widget. This is tracked by how many times a widget is seen on page views.
Promo Play—Promo Plays show how many times someone clicked your widget to hear at least a 60-second clip of your podcast. All Promo Plays count as IAB-certified downloads.
