Headliner lets you download your captions from Headliner straight to your machine. Captions are awesome tools for search and discovery, as well as for creating accessible content.
This article will quickly demonstrate how to download your captions from Headliner.
How to download your captions in Headliner
First thing first, create a video or audiogram project. Once your project has finished processing, you can download your captions.
Follow these steps and learn how to download your captions:
- Navigate to the Project's tab (or export projects to the Advanced Editor) - To grab captions from already made projects, click on the project you wish to transcribe and select 'Edit in the Advanced Editor' from the drop down window. If you're already in the Advanced Editor, skip to step 2!
- Enable captions - If you did not already enable captions on your project, you will need to do that. To add captions, click on the asset containing the spoken word. Then, toggle 'Captions' on.
- Download captions - After a few short moments, your captions will appear on the far left-hand side of your screen under the 'Transcript' pane. To download your captions, click the three dots in the upper right hand corner. Then, select 'Download captions' from the drop down menu.
And that's all! Headliner makes it easy to download your captions.
